Remington 870 (Shotgun): The second firearm Simon finds. Location: Found in Gustav Dahl Park after correctly placing the statues. (Depending on whether or not you pick up the m16 beforehand.) An extremely high strength but low rate of fire makes this gun only useful at long range. Hunting Rifle: The 3rd or 4th Simon comes across during the game. Press 'Z' to bring up the dialpad, and right-click to turn the flashlight on and off. Though there are moments when you need to call a number, or recieve a call. Simon's Cell Phone: Not really a weapon, but a very useful tool during the first chapters, primarily used as a light source to help navigate dark areas. Go up to it and push 'E' to equip it in your inventory. An arm extruding from the ceiling holds it. Location: Found in the beginning of the apartments in the first chapter. Later on, a tactictal light can be equipped to the Glock, making it so you no longer have to have your phone equipped to light the way. Though it is the weakest firearm in the game, a surplus of ammo is found, making it very useful. It has a moderately high magazine size, and a decent fire rate. Glock 19 9mm: The Glock is the very first gun Simon finds in Cry of Fear.

(stabbing motion) Right click to alternate to your preferred wielding option. One way provides a faster swing rate, with less strength, (swiping motion) and one provides a slower swing rate, with more strength.
#CRY OF FEAR GAME NOT WORKING HOW TO#
Switchblade: The Switchblade is a weaker weapon, with two options on how to hold it. NOTE: Some weapons are easy to miss, and most are optional to get. Also added that you can left/right-click on IP next to Power Button and it gives you an option to "Copy IPv4 address".These are the weapons that you encounter during Cry of Fear. You don't necessarily need the port number at the end of the command to connect, but you can use it if you like (the ":27015"). [EDIT 7 (8/22/18): Updated Hamachi info regarding connect command. [EDIT 6 (6/13/17): Updated Hamachi info, slight edit to some text.
#CRY OF FEAR GAME NOT WORKING DOWNLOAD#
[EDIT 5 (1/15/17): Changed Hamachi download link. [EDIT 4 (6/1/16): Added warning/troubleshoot step above steps about Firewall. If none of the above steps work, then let your friend try hosting, following either steps (with or without Hamachi). IF YOU CAN'T SEEM TO CONNECT, PLEASE REFER TO "BEFORE YOU BEGIN." SECTION ABOVE. Start up Cry of Fear and host the server (Host Server > etc.) with LAN off.Īfter you're in the Co-op lobby, tell your friend to type this in his console (~ key) to connect: If you do not know how to port-forward, then look at tutorials (you need to know the information about your router before doing this) - you can use this program as well.

To find the ports you need, go (If link doesn't work, look up "Steam support ports"). If you do not have a Static IP, you will need to know information about your router in order to look up tutorials on how to set up a static IP on your router in order to continue. To start off, if you are unaware of your static IP, you may use Google to find tutorials on where to locate your static IP (this will help you host the server in a bit). It's best that if you aren't computer/networking savvy, stick with Hamachi. I should note that going with this step will require a user who have knowledge of their router and system, or else you will struggle trying to perform this step to host a server. Playing Co-op (W/O HAMACHI)You will need:
